WEEK 9: Return of the Dark Nights…
Nine weeks.
Two months.
Nineteen stories.
Not a bad set of numbers, eh? :)
To us, these are merely milestones along the way – their primary purpose is falling by the wayside. Yes, it pleases us to pass them by but may we tell you what is even more fulfilling? It’s the comments you guys leave behind on these stories. Every vote, every rating, every comment, every Facebook Like, every Tweet, every Stumble plays an important role – it boosts an author’s confidence. It makes the author feel wanted. When you comment on, or tweet about, stumble or like a story, it is an indication that the author has moved you enough to tip your indifference into one of the two passions – like or dislike. That is when the story ceases to be a monologue and becomes a conversation.
We will do our best to keep feeding you material for these conversations – a.k.a. these stories – but we have only this to say about it: Thank you for all the conversations you’ve been having so far – please don’t stop. Ever. Okay, enough of the oscar-winning speeches, eh? Let’s move on to the main course for the week!, shall we? Right, then.
This week two of our previously published authors return with their new masterpieces:
Dream
Aditi D returns with yet another foray into the world of darkness – where all may be silent and look peaceful, but nothing is as it seems. A must-read for those who loved her dark, vivid imagery in her first story, “The Night“.

Roshan Radhakrishnan takes you through the dark alleys of the city of Amberville, once again. Navigate this fast-paced, anti-climactic story to know what we are talking about! Incidentally, his previous story, “Amberville” continues to be the most read story on this site!

As always, you’re always welcome to submit your stories for review. Just a quick reminder that we’re now accepting poems as a form of fiction, too! By-the-by, you should also follow us @_dbin on twitter ! Do chat us up! :)
Oh, and If you did submit a story and it hasn’t appeared this week – don’t worry, there’s always a next time! Til then, have a great week ahead! :)

The Janitor
How clean can a dustbin be? Well, ask me! I am the Janitor, who mops ups the place & keeps the dustbin clean - so to speak. This attempt is still in it's beta phase, so bear with me while I sort out the issues & kinks?
